Marine Services in Noumea, New Caledonia

Noumea is the French alternative to Australian east coast services for cruisers in the Southwest Pacific. Solid trade pool, decent parts logistics via France and Australia, and a working marina infrastructure in Port Moselle. It's not Papeete-level for chandlery depth but it's a perfectly competent base for refit work.

Many cruisers use Noumea as a southbound staging stop before pushing to Australia or New Zealand for the cyclone season, or as a northern entry to the Pacific after a New Zealand winter.
